The ambiance of the old building was lovely, with stunning tiles and original art pieces creating a unique atmosphere. I appreciated the spacious King Suite Sao Vicente Room, which blended traditional charm with comfort. Breakfast served in the courtyard was delightful, providing a peaceful start to each day. I was able to explore nearby attractions like the Castle of Sao Jorge and Praça do Comércio, both just a short walk away. This stay was perfect for taking in the local culture and cuisine.

What a quaint little place this is, except for the abysmal rattling doors that sounded like a ghost convention every time footsteps were heard above. The worst part? I booked a suite, but no complimentary welcome gift was provided to ease my suffering. Absolutely unreal, yet I almost gave it a great review, but just couldn’t.

While the dinner service was unexpectedly closed the week we visited, the friendliness of the staff and the comfortable accommodations made for a pleasant trip overall.

Amazing experience here, the art around every corner made it lovely. The breakfast was the highlight, it felt like an artist's feast, delicious Turkish breakfast that took me back to the good old days.

It was pricey but worth every euro.
